HD Upgrade misleading

If youre purchasing for the iPad dont bother with the in-app HD upgrade for an additional $4.99. Video is no better than the standard app. Version 1.2 provides high-resolution imagery for the iPhone 4 so Im not sure where the value is for any upgrade.
